JSCs
Ten industry-based groups have been identified across different sectors, with Powering Skills Organisation (PSO) appointed in the Energy, Gas and Renewables sectors. The JSCs initiative is an exciting step towards ensuring Australia's future workforce has the skills that they need for this country’s industries to continue to grow rapidly.
Collaborating through councils:
DEWR
We are a Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR). We look after workforce planning; training product development; industry stewardship; implementation, promotion and monitoring.
JSA
We work closely with Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) to gather and share information on workforce planning in the energy sector. JSA provides a comprehensive look at labour market data at national, state and regional levels.
